Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is seeking an Intermediate Automation Engineer to join our team in Fredericton. Reporting to the Control, Automation & Electrical discipline lead Engineer, you will support projects globally working from our Fredericton office with opportunities in other Hatch offices and at project job sites.

Responsibilities:

• 发展循环图纸,P&ID,非常贴切or control schematics
• Developing and checking of 2D models in an integrated CAD (Microstation as well as AutoCad) environment
• Preparing electrical/instrumentation deliverables including: General arrangement drawings, detail drawings, equipment specifications, and design sketches in accordance with established quality procedures
• Developing, designing control strategies
• Preparing cable schedules and construction packages
• Developing material take offs from the layout drawings
• Involved with PLC and HMI programming
• Ability to work in the field, support commissioning/startup activities on projects.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechatronics or Engineering Physics from a recognized university
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Microstation 2D and 3D
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good knowledge of electrical system designs for industrial facilities
• Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Self-start with the ability work both in a team environment and independently
• Courses in power system analysis, power electronics, and electric machines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with industrial PLC programs
