孵化is seeking to hire a civil engineering co-op student to join our growing Rail Division in the Vancouver BC office. Our projects involve the design of rail sidings, rail yards, and terminals for major railways. You will have the opportunity to work in many parts of the project life-cycle from concept development, detailed design, drawing production, contract administration, and construction management.

Responsibilities:
• Assist engineers with the design of alignments, profiles, and corridors for major railway projects;
• Produce all levels of drawings from concept to detailed design;
• Support different projects with varied schedules and scopes;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
• Assist in developing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and design basis documentation;
• Commitment to high-quality standards through quality control processes;
• Conduct site visits as required.

Qualifications:
• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Civil Technologist Co-op from an accredited institution;
• Excellent academic record;
• Proficiency in Civil3D is considered a strong asset;
• Ability to learn new software, systems, and processes;
• Construction, site, or railway experience is considered an asset;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and positive work ethic with an emphasis on continual improvement.
